You know, when I go to work, I except not to be degraded and treated like absolutely shit. (self.starbucksbaristas)

So this older lady comes through drive and orders like 3 food items and her first drink. She starts her second, she wanted a Peach Tranquillity. I informed her we didn’t have it and there was a huge corporate shortage (idk for 100% if true but it usually gets them to stop asking). She gets all mad and then decides she wants a Mint Majesty. I key it in and she requests agave, I informed her we didn’t have any, she then requested honey, I once again informed her we were out and she asked for peppermint. I key it in and it shows the 80 cent charge. She gets all pissy about it saying it’s not fair for me to charge her for something if it’s our fault that we didn’t have the original thing. About a minute and a half to two minutes pass and she’s still complaining and I’m trying to explain it’s not me, it’s the computer system and corporate. Another barista steps in to help. Anyway long story (at least this part) short, we tell her to pull forward. When she gets to the window she changes her mint tea to a kiwi and very loudly, while on the phone with someone, puts me and the other barista down. Like. Thanks. But if I wanted to be degraded, I would have gone to Great Aunt Sally’s house for her to put down my “life choices”. This 320 partner was not taught how to handle hostile customers in the window over something that is completely not my fault.
