Do I need to notify my manager before changing my availability? I have my availability open for all week except Monday since I started working here. I’ve mainly worked only close or mid shifts but recently my manager asked me if I’m interested in opening. I told her that I’d rather stay mid or close because I don’t have a car right now and the people I get rides from work those early hours, but she’s scheduled me opening hours for a few days the next few weeks. I understand that I need to change my availability if I don’t think I can work those hours so it’s my fault that I’ve been scheduled them recently but I was just wondering if there’s anything specific I need to do.
