Yep, wouldn’t it show “Blonde” if it was just changed to blonde shots from regular but it shows “Blonde Espresso” showing that it was added ontop of the shots already in there (charged that way, anyway)

That’s what I thought and what I said to two different baristas, but they assured me I was wrong. Haha. I had stars so I didn’t care, but would definitely care if I had to pay. I checked my drink from March 1st and you are correct! It just says “blonde” vs “blonde espresso” Thanks so much!

There was a charge on the screen for the oatmilk, the syrup, and a $1.00 charge for the blonde espresso. I didn’t care because I was using stars, I just wanted to baristas to not accidentally be overcharging everyone who has to pay.

I get an extra shot in my drink - which is also blonde, and they're $1 now. Agree that the Barista added an extra shot rather than changing it to Blonde.

This is the correct answer. I wanted to facepalm reading the answers saying the worker pressed the wrong button. If you ask for blonde espresso, then that will print on the sticker so the barista on bar knows to make it with blonde instead of regular espresso. If you actually asked to add a blond espresso shot, it would say both "TRIPLE" and "Blonde espresso" on the sticker... The "Triple" is where you'd get charged an outrageous amount. But yes, the increased costs of the NON-dairy milks, base cost, and the syrup are what made this more expensive.

I did notice that price went up, I didn’t add a shot though, I got the same amount of shots in a traditional latte, just blonde espresso instead of regular.

Just for getting blonde in your latte instead of regular espresso? I know there is a charge for extra shots or adding shots to a drink without them. I’ve never been charged at all for it. I assumed it was just a substitution since it’s an espresso based drink.
