Looking for ways to help increase our labor. (self.starbucksbaristas)

Other than obvious upselling and offering warmed up food, what are other ways labor can be added for the schedule? I'm not sure if that's clear so feel free to ask for more clarity and ill try my best to explain.

This is a small thing but it can add up- make sure to ring up all waters! My SM said each one adds a small bit of labor. So instead of just grabbing them at hand off, I’d try to have them go order one at POS

That's actually smart. The number of times people add waters at the window that are just given away. Looks like I'm getting a water every break now too.

pretty sure "no cheese", "no meat", and "open faced" buttons count for a small amount of labor!! 👀

Making sure you're ringing items up correctly, stirred, double blended, steamed, extra hot, extra milks, custom teas, refills.
For example: I prefer ordering a lemonade w/strawberry acai base added because it requires less labor. Its not shaken just poured like and iced coffee. If customers want their lemonade shaken it gets rung up as a tea or refresher with lemonade because more labor is needed. Same for double blended refreshers with base added. You charge for a syrup creme frap with all the mods. So you get your labor. I know some partners don't want to charge to standard because it comes out of sbux pockets, but if you're not getting the sales and labor it's coming out of yours too.

When you warm up pastrys it adds labor. So always as if they want their muffins, banana loaf and pumpkin loaf warmed.

Ring waters and select a grind type even if they order whole bean.

More customers or more money are pretty much it. More customers is lowering your window time - is everyone is a good position? Do we have the right support to get things out quickly? More $ is any up sell - do you want an extra shot? How many cake pops would you like? Did you want cold foam on that?
