“i had a mobile order”

This happened at my store years ago. The lady jumped the sidewalk and crashed her car right tf into our cafe, and she almost hit one of our regulars. If he hadn’t seen her coming out of the corner of his he he would’ve been seriously hurt.

The lady got out of her car and goes, “Oops!” meanwhile there’s glass and splintered wood everywhere. She sent us flowers a few days later to say sorry lol.

I’ve seen more than a few local ‘car drives into building’ stories and have maybe chuckled a bit (assuming no serious injuries), but damn, I never really took a moment to really think about how terrifying that must be to witness until I saw this.
