I once had the unfortunate opportunity to help a woman who would order a grand smoothie but all the additions were mixed between tall grande and venti.she sometimes had a little laminated card that shed bring with her and micromanage you making her drink. I once had to make it 5 times because she's watching you and talking/ confirming your movements.. if.you messed up she would have you restart.
I haven't seen her in years and yet I can't stand that woman to this day.

Honestly, I get it. Maybe it might not be their reasoning, but my reasoning would be to have the correct proportions just in a smaller amount (if that makes sense). It is wasteful, but I really think it’s just a proportions thing. On the app, you can’t customize having a 1/2 pump of a syrup. I think putting a grande in a tall is the next best thing, because you’re getting the exact same taste, just less product, and thus, less calories and less sugar.

Open all 4 at once. I do that. And no I don’t care if not all got in the cup. Customer if it’s not sweet enough I will give u an extra packet to put in urself.
