Because nobody thinks there is a difference. We've been proudly serving our customers brown sugar oatmilk shaken blonde drip coffee and toasted vanilla oatmilk drip coffee instead of marking it out of our system. I'm cringing, it's so gross. I just can't with this today. 🤦🏽♀️
It doesn't taste like espresso, it isn't as thick, it is weak, it tastes and smells like blonde drip coffee. There is no way around it.

Blonde and the regular espresso there is a noticeable difference imo, but I mean espresso in general is just a brewing method, I'm kinda curious now since I've never tried veranda as an espresso shot

My head hurts so bad its like someone is driving a railway spike through my head. Its not bad its just weak and it clearly tastes like drip coffee.
They're just not the same roast as the blonde espresso.
Pulling one shot of blonde drip coffee doesn't even taste bitter as a regular blonde shot...it just tastes like stronger blonde drip coffee and it's very thin and watery and it doesn't congeal the way that the other espressos do, it doesn't froth the same way, either.
It's just a weaker roast and if it wasn't the smell and taste...my body feels like it needs more caffeine. If it was an equivalent, I would have had enough mgs to get me thru my shift comfortably...but I am in serious pain and felt sleepy all night. Then, the truck shows up right as we're all setting the alarm and leaving and I know that there is blonde espresso on that truck...and I just look at it, longingly...I'm going to drink a white claw and take some ibuprofen. Ick. Ew. Ew.

this time last year with all of the shaken espressos first launching (particularly with the brown sugar oatmilk becoming so popular so quickly), we had a blonde espresso shortage as well, and were told by corporate to sub it for veranda if we ran out. so technically the mid shift was correct (unless y’all had retail blonde espresso beans available for use?) but i totally get where you’re coming from, for sure not the same.

We use Siren’s blend every time we run out of blonde esp, we’ve found it to be the most similar! Don’t tell my manager… if they ask we use veranda…
