sometimes when there isn’t enough coverage hours to give, they might schedule you non-coverage so that you’re still getting hours!

They do that at my store and my sm just got in big trouble by the dm for going over on non coverage hours. We're still constantly understaffed so idek anymore.

my store starting splitting it between two days, I think 1 day a week is standard but it depends on what ur manager decides

Sometimes my manager banks non coverage to use at the end of the quarter for when the company suddenly decides we are all using too much labor.

Same. Everything is so nasty. We had to panic clean cold bar DURING PEAK because it was so grimey. Strawberry pieces in the drains and yuck.

Clean play is generally 2 hours after closing (at least at all the stores I’ve been at) it might just be off the floor work ask your sm or a shift who is working at the time

Non coverage is time to be off the floor (clean play, clean something perhaps, any work in the back like organizing let’s say the shelf’s) clean play is cleaning things like drains, all the fridges bleaching sinks basically deep cleaning the store
