Training is super personal to you and how you learn. Some people will get things faster than others. Yes there is a standard for training but unfortunately everyone does it differently. I wouldn’t be too worried as long as you feel prepared to do the tasks needed to be done.
Personally, I got half of shift of training when I first started! I learned how to make whip creams and did iPad training and that was it. I learned it all along the way so don’t stress!

Yeah you’re getting the short end of the stick unfortunately. You’re supposed to be trained on each position separately with a barista trainer. While you’re not an expert by any means when you finish, you’ve at least been exposed to all positions. Then it’s just practice,practice, practice.
