i was only hired in late november but idk i think it seems like fun to be an ssv (which people will tell me i'm going to regret saying) but i really want to try for it. i was also wondering about what kinds of questions they ask during the interviews for ssv?

I was a rehire, started Sept, promoted in Jan after being encouraged by my ASM.

I think technically 6 months but in actuality it will probably be more like 9

Well, if you bring it up to your manager they can help start to develop you and see what work needs to be done. When development towards ssv starts then other ssv’s will be able to help you out too. They would generally have you help in coaching, in being a leader and teach/show you what is important to practice and know. It all goes back to coaching and problem solving while balancing the Starbucks, Customer, and Partner experience. Being an ssv can be fun, but can be super stressful, but you find your grove and then it becomes like second nature, with practice.

In terms of the type of interview questions, it’s questions that are focused on Coaching and situational based questions too. If you’re preparing for your interviews your manager should give you the questions ahead of time in order for you to prepare and practice. I typed up my answers after thinking about it and brought them to the interview. They care a lot on coaching and if you are able to problem solve. Learning cash management and inventory management comes after, so that doesn’t matter as much.
