1. If it’s a drive thru store managers need to shush about connections cuz it’s not happening in a drive through if you want good drive times under a minute 2. This does seem a little toxic, there is already huge wars of morning vs night in nearly every store and it’s a terrible work environment, instead of telling morning to “step it up” she should talk to those shift leads and ask what they need to be done to get it better, does morning need an extra person on bar? Or does nigh need one more person to help prep everything and catch up? Would it be easier if maybe we turned off mobiles in the morning? Is there a change that needs to happen in the pull so we don’t run out of things faster so customers don’t feel so negatively in reviews.?” This is bad communication and not what the group chat should be about, the group chat in my store is mostly about saying to eve you need a shift covered, any questions about events, or even a little team building small talk, nothing to crazy. For example we had a shift lead get a new puppy and sent us videos in the chat cuz everyone is so excited about it!

Also, partners are not to work “off the clock.” If she’s sending work communication around customer connection and stuff, that’s a violation.

that's not ok. I had a manager doing the shift change the day before nonsense and eventually reached out to my DM about it.
changing shifts without notice is against policy so if the manager being in a store group chat.
if they need to talk to you it can be on the clock

nah
from my understanding for your schedule to be changed, it needs to have a 24 hours notice. i personally feel it’s up to the individual to voice their thoughts on the last minute schedule changes.
also for the groupchats, i could care less what goes on unless it’s tea. im off the clock and don’t get paid to read some passive aggressive text.
it is bad management

Partners do not need to accept a schedule change request once the schedule is “posted.” If an SM want to make a change she needs to request it and get approval from a partner.
