Hours being cut (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by xylophonezygote
Starting next week, my hours are being decimated based on low labor in the store - I’m going from 34.5 to 21. All I know is Starbucks better be ready to start paying for all three of my meals on the days that I’m in or else I’m gonna starve. Anyone know of any lucrative side hustles LMAO

Would be real useful if the shift market place actually worked

My store manager cut on of my fellow shift’s hours down to the point there’s a good chance she’ll loose her health insurance. And sadly, I think he knows that and doesn’t feel any guilt behind it at all

I think the hourly requirement is now 17.50 a week? It was reduced due to COVID and still is. You can probably find the actual number that they want you to work in a 6 month period somewhere but I know it averages out to less than 20 now. And as long as they are above 20 later they should be good since there isn’t another audit until the summer. I wanna say June?

It’s back up to 520. I spoke to someone at PCC about this unfortunate

Post your availability at other stores to pick up shifts? Take home expired sandwiches and pastries?
