It's definitely a shadow of what it used to be but it still takes a lot of busy work and learning off the clock. Only those with cool store managers that care and LOVE coffee craft get to do it

I work at a target Stbx. A shitty coworker of mine with a serious superiority complex got her hands on one and started to wear it, despite having never even worked for STBX before. It pissed the rest of us off so our crew ordered some together and all showed up wearing Coffee Master aprons. Even got my name embroidered on it at the mall. She was SO PISSED. She tried to cry to my manager about it but luckily he thought she was an ass and our stunt was hilarious. Now when you come to our target you’ll have a team of Coffee Masters making your drinks 😂

Yeah they don’t ship them out anymore!! I’ve been interested in the whole thing since I started, and I had a manager working on getting me an apron when she transferred out. When my current manager came in, she told me to finish our current coffee academy books and she’d see what she could do! There was a lot of uncertainty ngl, and it was all done on my own time. My SM ended up giving me one of her aprons and the coffee academy pins we currently have after I had a coffee tasting with my DM and her. It was a lot of fun, but it definitely took a lot of effort and patience
