I’m still kinda new, hasnt been a full month yet since I’ve worked there. I would 100% recommended having this bookmarked and always up in case you need to do cs and can’t quick maths like 2 weeks or 5 days from the day. Plus there is shelf life standard and other stuff in on the cheat sheet side. https://sbuxdates.com
Definitely either ask or watch the orders for what your popular most drinks are. At my store, it is white mochas, caramel macchiatos, brown sugar oat milk shaken espressos, and pink drink. Every so often we have tea or something else . There should be cards at your store to quick look at if needed.
This quizlet may be helpful https://quizlet.com/668192372/starbucks-menu-study-guide-flash-cards/?i=1whk7n&x=1jqY
Also the Starbucks app could help too! It shows the basics of what is in it and how many!

GO ON QUIZLET I’ve been there a month and a few days now and I looked up a quizlet and wrote all the drinks out with what shots/extras go in them- my biggest concern is Frappuccino’s it’s really the only place that I don’t have a good amount of confidence on. ALSO USE THE APP IT TELLS YOU WHAT GOES IN STUFF — this is especially useful for Frappuccino’s and I’m still checking it everyday!

USE THE REGISTER!
similar to using the Starbucks app.
When you’re on a register taking orders the right side of the screen should be like, a fake cup with boxes for shots, milk, syrup, etc. that will pop up no matter what drink you click on to tell you what’s in it! I hope that makes sense. It is very useful for memorizing what goes in/on each drink.

I used the app a lot to remember what goes in what

totally okay to rely on your trainer it's their job 💛 - a starbucks trainer BUT i get it lol as for memorizing drinks there are a bunch of quizlets if you just wanna look up starbucks quizlet but if you're wanting to look at all of them, the website and app have the menu! the menu will include information on shots, milk, syrups, and toppings for each drink!

Im sure you will get plenty of resources in the comments, however I want to remind you that it is OKAY to rely on your trainer! That’s what they are there for!
If youre having trouble remembering, tell them! They may already have something set aside to help their new partners along. My trainer had little cards for me and let me use them till I didnt need them anymore. To this day (about 3 months into being a partner!) I ask lil recipe questions or double check if im doing the right amount of pumps and shots. I usually try to fond who trained me first cus im most comfy with her lol but if I cant I rely on my team.
If you have a supportive team, nobody will be annoyed by you relying on them. I know some stores don’t have a good dynamic, but if youre holding yourself back because of your own worries, try not to! We all have been there. We would rather you reach out and rely on us so we can help you move along and succeed with us faster.
Good luck!
