The trays my friend. If you got silver hands likely the person putting away pastries touched the tongs and didn't wash their hands. 🪦

Metal trays rubbing against metal pastry cart/thaw rack. Tiny metal dust particles turn your hands grey/silver. I always get it on my face too 🤦🏻♀️
