I love every part of my job…. For every most part … except for the customers - anyone else relate….?

Literally the customers we get are something else.
Someone literally yelled at one of our green beans for not having whip cream on their macchiato … which they insist is how it always comes normally…. (No they didn’t ask for whip cream on their macchiato when ordering)… like I’m sick of “customer always right” mentality… like no.

Exhausted

But seriously- minus the customers I love my job.

I love my fellow baristas and tasking and everything ….

From what I remember the customer is always right didn’t mean that they could get away with whatever they wanted. What it was actually supposed to be was in regards to taste, if they wanted a refresher with a shot (gross), then that’s what they should get. But now it means that if they throw a fit they can get free things.

I despise the phrase "the customer is always right". Like this week alone, we have a crap ton of people order drinks and had we not clarified hot or iced, they would have had to have a drink remade. And they act like it was us who made the mistake, like duh I wanted it iced even though I didn't say it.
