submitted by bonersz
been a partner since late october and ive loved every second of it but lately i am FEELING IT bro... so so tired every day even after a quick 5 hour shift,, like i'll go in guns blazing ready to have a good day, get put on bar for 2-3 hours and i immediately just. die. i'm not sure why this has been happening (it's literally a job, lol, its Work, and i think sometimes i forget its not always supposed to be fun or enjoyable) but ig im just looking for some motivation or appreciation or something idk. my asm and shift supervisors are super chill and really supportive of me, ive just been SO burnt out by everything going on in the starbucks world lately. this is really all over the place but when i tell you im in the bathroom crying after a FIVE HOUR SHIFT.. somethings not right with me these days😭😭 someone tell me im gonna be okay LOL

Take a couple days off. I started here last May and finally started feeling that myself. So I took off five days to just chill and get caught up on house stuff. Assuming you can afford it a break could be wise.

I’m a shift and I do pretty well under stress but the past few weeks it’s raised my blood pressure to the point it’s uncomfortable for me. It’s not a medical problem. But it’s up enough to make me feel really uncomfortable. Lucky I’m slowly working my way out of this company

I took a couple days off when I was feeling this way. A three day weekend does wonders. I stayed home, slept in, took myself out to eat, and refused to feel stress. I came back to work so refreshed
