Until I’m told to find coverage and since it wasn’t in the time frame of proper call outs I can be written up. It’s bs honestly. The cost of overhead and labor vs keeping it open should be enough to close the store.

Im sorry but no. You dont have to find coverage. If the roads are too dangerous for you to travel it is "within time" to call off just like if you were to wake up sick before your shift. If they try to write you up, thats a call to the DM for mismanagement.
