I will never understand the combining of multiple sweeteners. But then I don't understand the use of artificial sweeteners to begin with, I have never found one that doesn't leave a horrific after-taste for me.

Hmm, most times it's because someone wants their drink to have a specific flavor but also taste sweet without the calories/blood sugar raising properties of regular sugar. So, you get a couple pumps of syrup with the desired flavor and then boost the overall sweetness with Splenda, avoiding the calories.

No, I get why other people use them. I can't, personally. What I don't get is using multiple sweeteners. Like the people who want stevia, splenda, sugar, raw sugar, honey, and agave all in one drink

Omg I had someone order a passion tea lemonade with an espresso shot. As I handed it off I told her if she didn't end up liking her drink for whatever reason I can always make her something else. She just said thanks and walked away. She never came back. I can't imagine how that would be any good. 🤮

i feel like starbucks tries so hard to be quirky with their syrups, if they stuck to plain but interesting flavors they’d do a lot better. like, im unsure why we don’t have a lavender syrup yet, or why something like gingerbread, fruity things like cranberry weren’t thought of or kept (pineapple) . it’s all a cashgrab and when people don’t like it (remember the funnel cake frap 🤢 ) starbucks still gets the money bc they already bought it.

I try to double blend. But if it’s peak and i’m flooded with drinks then it’s getting blended once.
