hi i am 19 and recently found out my dad removed me from his health insurance. i have to see a psychiatrist and other doctor regularly and have medicine i need. paying for it out of pocket is super super expensive. is the starbucks health insurance good? i don’t know ANYTHING about health insurance and what prices are good and what deals are good. in your opinion is it worth it? also, does anyone know when the enrollment thing is ? i know u can’t just do it at any time. thanks

First off, I’m so sorry this is happening, if there’s anyone else who’d be able to help you and add you to their insurance please try to reach out. Secondly, you can sign up for insurance privately without a company association but ofc it’s more expensive.

Regarding SBUX, You can find more information online so your first step towards company benefits is to make an account on sbuxben.com. Here you can see all the benefits and see if you’re eligible. Unfortunately I’m in the same boat and need to wait to sign up for the annual enrollment period which is for a few weeks in august.

That’s close to five months until now so I hope you can find alternatives til then! And for insight on how good the pricing is, medical is the biggest expense and then they have dental and optics.

They have tons of different options and I will be going for premera because I’ve had a good experience with them but they have tons of options and pricing ain’t bad

I've had my own insurance through Starbucks for almost a year now. If you just need it for yourself, it's fairly reasonable. I have the best kaiser plan the offer, it has no deductible. That and my vision and dental insurance all combined cost me $46 a pay check, however I don't have any outstanding health issues
