In theory! You think maybe one day customers will realize that we’re understaffed and stopped coming to order, then the company will lower our hours again until this domino effect gets to a point where Starbucks is just one of those sucky places to go cause they’re so slow?

I feel like this happened to Taco Bell but with Starbucks it just depends on where you are because one district in downtown Denver never ever staffs enough to keep up with business but my store that sits at the east side of the city we only feel (in my opinion) short staffed when we can’t get coverage for a call out.

Haha I was at Dairy Queen earlier so that’s where my idea came from

Maybe I need to transfer 😅 on the west side of Denver, and I feel like we are drowning every. single. day. because of the labor cuts. I’m exhausted.

The only down side to transferring would be that your tip rate will drop to like .59 cents per hour. It’s horrid but I’d rather have the bad tips than nobody on the floor

I’d give away all of my tips for a consistent 30+ hours a week.

Starbucks needs to watch it. Companies like Dutch Bros. are growing fast and coming after them. Starbucks seems to think that customers and employees will never leave, even if they start treating them poorly.
