depends on your store’s needs and your SM. for example, there’s someone at my store that only works once or twice a week for 4 hour shifts. i personally work 2-3 times a week for 20-ish hours.
if you need insurance coverage 20 hours minimum every week is what you need to keep it, which i think 3 8-hr shifts a week covers. but generally it’s store dependent. :)

There’s not really a policy around it. I’d just recommend asking for less hours, talking with your SM before submitting a reduced availability is always the best idea. If you need the benefits providing 3 8 hour days will almost never cut it!
