everyday this lady comes in and orders a brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso with no ice and the first few times she yelled at me for putting ice in the shaker cuz she said “nO iCe” 😐 bet she’s so proud of herself for saying that shit too lmaoo enjoy ur lukewarm drink

at our store we have a policy that we have to shake it with ice then drain it bartender style and charge for the extra milk since my manager says it should be espresso forward (add dairy button for the extra milk)

Standard is to not make it. No ice is a barista safety issue. If she wants blonde shots with brown sugar syrup, oatmilk, cinnamon, and no ice she is being charged as a latte.

Please don’t shake hot shots of espresso I’m waiting for their to be an accident or hot shots flying out of the shaker and burning someone! I know they aren’t that hot but it’s still a fear that you can tell to customers

Nah. I’d straight up tell her y’all can’t shake hot drinks in a tea shaker. It’s not safe, and it can damage your shaker over time because they aren’t meant for that. If she wants to berate employees at another shop that have a fancy metal shaker then go ahead. Starbucks isn’t the place. She can have it stirred and charged for a latte or nothing at all.

One of our new beans didn’t really think about it when this customer asked for no ice for their brown sugar shaken espresso and she put the hot shots in the shaker and closed it to shake it and it popped right off and scared the hell out of her lmao what was even funnier was the customer was already told by me that this would happen if we tried to shake it this way and was being super rude and “I know how this works” you know because she works here lol and when she saw she was just like “oh…..that’s what you meant” yes bitch OH! 😒🙄
