i’m in that same boat. i told my manager that i wanted to transfer to a lower volume store for my knee issues bc working a double drive through puts a lot of stress on it (which is true and part of the reason i wanted to transfer) but little does she know i only requested it bc i don’t feel comfortable around my coworkers and dreaded being around everyone. she keeps putting off my transfer request so i’m quitting the moment i get another job. you don’t need to make up and excuse to transfer, just tell your sm straight up that you wanna transfer bc you don’t feel comfortable around everyone.

I am so sorry to hear that you’re being excluded, OP. We already deal with so much crap every day- we shouldn’t have to feel cold towards our coworkers, too! I would absolutely transfer, and you could use any excuse to transfer, like that it’s closer to home, it works with your schedule better, etc. A work environment can make or break your experience and it sounds like this is breaking yours. Try to find a different location and if that doesn’t work, choose a different path. There’s tons of places that will appreciate you for who YOU are and that your coworkers will make you feel welcome. Find that! I know I’m just another baristas, but I’m rooting for you, friend!!

Are they like this with everyone or just with you? It's horrible being treated like that but a lot of the times if it's just directed towards you, there is a very valid reason no one likes you.

It's everyone towards everyone, no one really talks except the people that have been there 7+ years to eachother , but most of the store is just kinda on their own
