After giving himself a giant fucking stock bonus. Where’s my 40%?!
Bhaisaab86 89 points 1y ago
Me, sitting here with my 0% raise in January. 😭
How-Inconvenient 2 points 1y ago
YAY WOOHOO fuckn same
Domestica 187 points 1y ago
May the door hit him square in the face on his way out
Anthonythebarista 20 points 1y ago
Period
menthol-drops 107 points 1y ago
Fucking good. Him being CEO made the place take a turn for the uncaring corporate entity that many other places suffer from. The difference was immediately obvious when he took over. May someone better come along for y’all.
kmoonster 86 points 1y ago
And stock rose 7% on the news?

I would expect a little bump one way or another, but 7% gain? Holy batman with a smore's frappucino.
ABVDRICEBV 11 points 1y ago
RIP to s’mores.
ItzBoogieMan 9 points 1y ago
7%?!? And yet GameStop hasn’t made a single announcement since the beginning of December and it’s down 50%??? Lol free market structure my ass. MOASS is gonna allow me to retire from this job and the CEO, by all means, fuck himself, and fuck ben too.
mama_bibi 72 points 1y ago
He got his raise and was like ok im good now. Literally feel used
Vosstonmass1 55 points 1y ago
Howard Schultz is stepping in as interim CEO which I hope will make a difference.
Onewayhwy11 34 points 1y ago
Shultz is an admirable leader and it truly was felt when he left as CEO.

I welcome him back, even if it is interim.
Vosstonmass1 35 points 1y ago
He made it seem like this was his way of letting the company know that he doesn’t agree with the direction it has taken. I hope he is able to make some changes and put the partner more at the center of the company. Without us, Starbucks is nothing. We need a change.
Onewayhwy11 11 points 1y ago
Completely agree-- people over profits!
KenansCloud 12 points 1y ago
Apparently according to the article he also spoke against unionizing, though :/ i hope i just read it wrong but im worried
amalia13lightning 23 points 1y ago
Schultz is a notorious union-buster. It's why they're bringing him back in.
TheBlueSuperNova 13 points 1y ago
Yeah I think people are happy for the wrong reasons
Adventvreland 24 points 1y ago
Schultz is very anti union, I don’t think this is a coincidence…
nikkicarter1111 1 points 1y ago
Schultz is very good at union-busting
overturned23 51 points 1y ago
thank god
rusting_oceans 46 points 1y ago

nerdyoats 19 points 1y ago
THANK GOD.
On the other hand, i wish Walgreens employees a very good luck with his ass.
joshberry777 17 points 1y ago
We will see if the new CEO is going to be any better...😮‍💨
boxinghamster16 16 points 1y ago
Ya'll realize Howard's just the union buster right? He's broken it up when starbucks tried to unionize before 😂
kqs13 10 points 1y ago
In my opinion, things were much better when Howard was CEO. He actually cared about the people who work for Starbucks and not just the profits like Kevin. I did work at starbucks when Howard was CEO so that's just my experience of course.
boxinghamster16 5 points 1y ago
I'm definitely not saying that all isn't true. I'm sure he'll improve things to the point that people feel better and don't feel the need to unionize
kqs13 2 points 1y ago
I hope so too
ohhot-pot-ao 15 points 1y ago
Ah yes the man who made millions decided to give himself a bonus worth a few more million dollars then said peace. Man tried to fucking ruin the company thank God he's gone.
BookDragon1996 14 points 1y ago
Shocked but definitely here for it
Merced_x 13 points 1y ago
not gonna lie, I hope this dude has a miserable rest of his life. Took a 30(something)% increase in pay between 2020 and 2021, a bonus after the company made about 4 billion dollars last quarter, and cuts hours. F\*\*k this guy and you too Howard.
femalehomosapien18 2 points 1y ago
39% basically 40%
blackcatcaptions 13 points 1y ago
Only to be replaced by some other corporate tyrant. Starbux needs a company wide strike
canidieyet_ 13 points 1y ago

Pinephish 6 points 1y ago
Good
create_consciousness 5 points 1y ago
Hoping for a more positive change to the company now that that money hungry tyrant is out; even though it’s just interim. Perhaps he’ll do a better job at appointing someone who actually cares for its partners
changbinsomnia 4 points 1y ago
he wont be missed
Gypsystomp 3 points 1y ago

lilangel05 1 points 1y ago
Good. He is truly a terrible person. We all felt it when Howard Schulz left. Really happy to see this after I voted against him being on the board of directors. The meeting was today. Maybe I’m not the only one that voted against him. :)
rascal-111 1 points 1y ago
