my stores current sm is very… uncomfortable to work with? They play nice but then next thing i know me and all the partners are being death stared whilst we work and once it slows done will be bombarded with questions abt passing tasks that have already been done? and this just continues all throughout the day? Our past sm never acted like this and the floor was a lot less tense and things were done with ease now most baristas are constantly looking over their shoulder and genuinely have no idea if they’re going to get lectured or given a bad try at semi-friendly convo. At first I tried to sympathize considering we all loved the past sm so maybe they feel a bit of a need to push authority? it just comes off very aggressive and makes any attempts of “connecting” with us seem mildly fake and almost condescending 😅
