Texts aren't an official form of communication. Call your manager instead, and like the others said: you still need to call the store to call out.

You have to actually call the store. Texts don’t count as calling in regardless of if you manager replies to them.

texts aren’t official call outs, i always text if i’m opening to let them know, but if you don’t call the store it’s technically a no call no show

I called the store in the morning @4:30. I just mean he never responded or acknowledged me calling out at all and when I did call someone else told me yeah he already saw your text
