You sound like one of those rude customers now

Being empathetic for my fellow partners, I would want to ask for that ice water at the café POS or at the drive-through speaker so that it gets into the system and they get credit for the labor and materials. It’s just one icewater, I know, but I’m not a clueless customer, I’m a partner and I don’t like us having to perform labor and hand over materials without credit for it especially in these scarce times

YES!! there is 3 starbucks locations in my town. the one i work at, one exit up from us, and one inside of a grocery store right up the road from us. both of the other stores have the RUDEST staff i have ever met. i’ve worked in food service since i was old enough to drive and i’ve never met people that act like this. the one in the grocery store has multiple employees that will just straight up ignore you and the one that’s an exit up from us is just awful. rude staff, drinks are never made right. and i’m not that type of person but god, i refuse to go to any store that’s not my own unless we’re out of everything i like

How busy was the cafe? Your drink is getting made when the ticket comes up. If that's 10 minutes, then it's 10 minutes. We usually tell people that we're that behind on bar when they order.
