I hear that Starbucks might be doing away with disposable cups by 2030. How would this work for mobile orders and drive thru where drinks are made ahead of time?

They're charged $1 deposit for a reusable cup and then once they return the cup, they get the deposit back.

I predict a lot of bitching and people not bringing back those cups. Then there's going to be excess "reusable" plastic cups in the landfill. I like the idea but...
