U can’t transfer if ure on a final. If that’s ur first written warning then it’s ok. Transfer before u get another one. My first sm would ask me to sign lateness warnings but later I found out she never filed them. She only want me to improve my tardiness. Maybe ur sm is doing the same if he says it’s not but I won’t trust them. U can call later if u are unsure if it’s filed.

Only final written warnings are a hard stop, but even then the DM is the final say. Our DM allows transfers on a final if it’s within the district

Basically, it is written documentation so that if they do write you up they have proof that they talked to you about it and didn’t spring it on you as a suprise
