Prank calls? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Do any of you get prank called? My first evening closing 2 years ago, some kids called and asked to “speak to a lesbian…”then paused and asked if I was one. I answered “that is none of your business.” They hung up and called back 3 more times before my shift told them she would report them.
Then the other night we were closing and some kids called and told my shift, “I got into the school play, Matilda, I have to sing a song. Would you be willing to sing the song at one performance?” And then proceeded to sing “New York” by Alicia Keys and hung up.
They called right back and I asked to answer it. It went something like this.
Me- “Hi Chili’s (town we were in).”
Them- “pause, and uncomfortable giggles.”
Me, not letting them speak, “We have some specials tonight, you can get a taco or burrito… which do you prefer? I personally like tacos better…”
Them- “ummm”
Dial tone.

straight up if they sound young tell them you’ve contacted the police. we had some kids that were MAYBE 8 prank calling constantly and that was the only way to get them to stop. i mean obviously don’t *actually* contact the police but yknow. probably won’t work if they’re teenagers though.

Say "you know we have caller ID right? Call again and we're calling the police". Stops our prank callers (all kids) dead in their tracks.
