Is submitting a resume necessary? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I'm an ex prep cook and I'm applying to work at a Starbucks near me, but I'm kinda curious about whether or not it's worth it submitting a resume. I'm only 18, I haven't even graduated high school yet, and I've worked at the same place for the last 2 years. Everything I could put on my resume is already covered by the application. I don't really see the point in adding a resume, especially because it's gonna be extremely short.
I know it's technically optional, but what are the chances that I could actually get a job if I don't submit a resume?

you’ll still get the job, don’t worry! the resume isn’t really necessary. i got an interview from submitting my job experience and not a resume. plus, lots of minors work at Starbucks as their first job.

It’s really only necessary if you’re applying to asm or higher
