My manager printed out a bar labeled with sequencing of a starbs program and left it there .
Remember 2/3/4 is for shaken espressos (shots) and regular amount of syrup pumps 2/3/4 is also for matcha drinks , 1-2-2 for cappuccinos and 1/2/2 for hot lattes 1/2/3 for iced beverages as well . some pumps may be different at stores like we are all out of half pumps but we use our regular ones and count from there . Also for cold brew like Vsc cold brew , the vanilla pumps are 1,2,3,4 counting form tall to trenta.

from my experience, repetition is what helped me perfect my ability to remember and make drinks. this took a little over a month and believe me, nobody expects a newbie to know everything after only a couple days.
it’s also good to look for patterns and similarities between drinks. most of our hot and iced drinks are made the same way with the exception of obvious differences like size, syrup, # of pumps/shots.
for example: a grande hot mocha and a grande hot caramel latte are made the same with one key difference. one gets mocha and the other gets caramel. aside from that, they both get the same amount of shots, pumps, etc. if you can remember one, you can easily figure out the others.
the tricky part is remembering how many shots and pumps each size gets, but there are usually guides in the store to look at and you can always ask a partner if you’re unsure. write it down if you need to. there are guides online too, quizlet has a ton of starbucks things
