I'm a barista and my hours have been cut by nearly half, as have the other baristas at my store. I told my sm that I will get evicted from my apartment within a month if my hours continue to be this short and she suggested I get a second job because there's nothing she can do about it. Got an interview with a local cafe set for Thursday lol I love being disposable🤪🤪🤪

No I will not sign my life away to a second job when I know Starbucks can afford to give me my hours. The price of two Venti iced white mochas with extra caramel drizzle and vanilla sweet cream cold foam is almost equivalent to my hourly wage and I be making them all day long. I’d just really like to afford rent, bills, and the gas that costs an arm and a leg right now. I wake up at 3:30 am dammit! Come on😭😂

Right. My store makes like 30-40k a week they can afford my minimum wage for 40 hours 😔

Yeah but I kinda need health insurance. I plan to cut my hours at sbux and mainly work the second job if they actually give me hours.

i asked for all of last week off due to a family vacation, and my boss gave me this week off as well. it has been happening with shifts at my store as well😤😤

This seriously sucks. I have partners at my store working 5 hours 😐like most of us have rent and bills. We shouldn’t be forced to use our vacation because the company is acting like it doesn’t have the money to spare. I hate it here🙃

We still have to have 520 BEN hours
by the last payday prior to July 5 to keep benefits y’all. They haven’t lowered that number even though they’ve cut hours
