Tall rant. Why people got such bad taste? We have some truly delicious options. Dirty iced chai with blonde ristretto shots and oat milk. Peach green tea, no water, pump of raspberry. I also like the passion tango tea and think the ham and Swiss croissants are sublime. (self.starbucksbaristas)

Not to mention, what I think is the pinnacle of the current modern Sbux menu, because no mods needed, adequately sweet, caffeinated, and aesthetically pleasing, the dragon drink. But people are out here spending money on caramel ribbon crunches, anything mocha (slimy brownie batter) or white mocha (weird gelatinous sugar syrup), and cake pops. As well as straight up abominations, like the regular who inspired this post, the venti iced americano, 4 Splendas, 4 stevias, 6 pumps sugar free vanilla, heavy cream, and extra whip. At least they get blonde shots. And the popularity of caramel macchiatos eludes me. It’s just sugar syrup hanging out on hot milk. Maybe I’m just being judgy. Coming off 5 straight killer shifts. I have a regular that gets a venti iced caramel macchiato with 6 pumps vanilla, 6 Pumps caramel, 6 pumps dark caramel with a single shot, extra caramel drizzle, vscf and the best part.. made with whole milk. it makes my stomach (and my wallet) hurt just thinking about it. At least 5 days out of the week too. 😭😭😭

A single shot! And whole milk? What, are you a baby? I just want to shout at them, “you don’t like coffee! You have a sugar addiction, not a caffeine addiction.”

I had someone ask for a very weak coconut latte. I gave them literally 1/2 a shot instead of 2. She marched to the front of the queue upon receipt of her warm milk and said “Excuse me! This is SO strong!!!!!” and handed it back to us, expecting us to fix it as is our job.
We offered to top it up with more milk to make it weaker. She said no. We asked her what she wanted us to do and she said nothing, so I turned to her and said “Listen. This has got half a shot of coffee in it. If that’s too strong for you, maybe coffee’s not for you. 🤷🏻♀️”
She looked at me like this for a good few seconds: 😠 before storming out without her drink. It seems like she didn’t want to hear that lol.

Try strawberry acai refresher with lemonade and passion tango tea. It's my drink every night when we close up the store. Sour, sweet, and refreshing after a hard shift.
