How do I talk to my manager about switching stores? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I want to change the store I work at, the one I work at now is way too stressful and chaotic and I’d like to work at a slower more stable store. I have a few in mind, but how do I bring this up? I feel bad leaving because we are so short staffed and I care about my partners but I really can’t work at this store much longer.

You would need to talk to them about transferring and finding a store you want to transfer to. Then you have to be sure that store can take you.
Fair warning though SMs can reject transfer requests. Especially if you’re short staffed. Usually only moving away is a pretty high likelihood of an approved transfer if your store is short staffed.
