Is your store a low or medium or high business store? Mine is super high business store and we’ve gone through drastic stuff with management since September/October of 2021

I’ve never had a shift this short even since I started. I have heard that shifts for baristas are between 4 and 8 hours but still

No I feel. I’m used to 30+ hour work weeks but this week and next week I only have 24-25 hours like??? Come on? I have mad crazy availability. I’ve been very fortunate with hours since this all started but i feel terrible for everyone that has this as their only income and pay bills with this job and their hours keep getting cut.

Yeah I live alone and this is my only job. Hours for my store have been tight since February and it doesn’t look like they’re getting any better. I’m constantly picking up shifts or borrowing out but I’m at max stress level and my SM is just like “I can’t schedule you more sorry”

Sorry confused, so your whole week is average 6 hr shifts? This is a typical shift for a barista at my store. Most day people are 5-945/6-1045/8-1230, and the shifts are 5-1230.

We are a super high business store. It’s rare our shifts are less than 5 hours. When I first started, I was at least getting 6-8 hours per shift
