problem with app QR codes (self.starbucksbaristas)

hey guys,
i work at a safeway starbucks and we have always had issues scanning the QR codes in the app for people to pay directly with their debit/credit cards. also to scan and earn points. we can however scan their gold cards or any gift card on the app that has a balance showing. i’m just wondering if there’s other licensed stores/safeways that have this problem? or is my store just making our jobs ridiculously harder. i’m tired of customers getting mad because our system isn’t working like other starbucks does

I was at a licensed store in a Loblaws and it was the same.

Hy-vee is the same way. It doesn’t work in our system, which makes sense, but also causes a lot of frustration for customers.
