Myself, I sit in my driveway for about 5-10 minutes, then I go inside to sit down and scroll on my phone for 15-30 minutes, then I shower (ETA varies), then I usually try to take care of whatever I’ve been neglecting (laundry, dishes, being hungry, etc.), and then I fire up some video games and veg out til it’s time to make/pick up dinner.

I work mostly night shifts.
I usually come inside, set all my stuff down, feed my cat and the strays outside, and then shower. Sometimes, I eat before showering, but I often eat after. If I have any chores to do after work, I do those before showering to avoid feeling gross again. Then, I work on any classwork I have and play videogames, watch TV, practice bass, or whatever else I feel like doing before going to bed.

I usually open, so I get home , get myself and my toddler some lunch, take the dogs out, feed the chickens (depending on if my hubs did in the morning or not, eat lunch and maybe watch a show or scroll while my toddler watches a show, then we nap. Then chores, dinner and winding down. Then do it all again ahaha

I used to go home and just smoke flower every day after getting home from work, and probably binge eat. But I’ve become mostly sober in the past half year. Only smoking socially with friends once a month. And my after work routine has changed dramatically. I head to the gym after I get off of my morning shift (I’m usually an opener), and I’m there for typically an hour-hour and a half. Weight lifting has saved me. I feel so much stronger, and my carpal tunnel seems to have pretty much gone away. I honestly thought that I’d have to retire as a barista because I used to have insane pain in my right arm after a day at the bar. After the gym, I go home and shower. Work on school (I’ve been working on a degree through ASU :) ), make dinner, and maybe I’ll read or watch a show before going to bed between 8-9 so I can open the next day. It might not be everyone’s thing, but deleting social media to prevent from doom scrolling, and turning towards an active lifestyle saved me from my major depressive thoughts and feelings. I kind of feel like I’m finally living. Finally want to be alive. I used to work about 40hrs a week, but between labor cuts and introducing school to my schedule, I’m typically on the schedule for 30hrs now for reference.

Context: I'm an opener and my boyfriend works an afternoon/evening job.
Get home, put down my bag, take off shoes, change into a non-dresscode shirt. Hug dog who followed me to the bedroom, hug boyfriend who is usually in the kitchen. Help finish up dinner and sit down for an episode of whatever show we're watching at the time while we eat (it's Madame Secretary right now). Countdown to departure time while boyfriend gets ready for work, and then either fall asleep on the couch or do something productive after he leaves. Usually the first one.

I play my own video game or scroll my phone til we're ready to make dinner. We watch tv together while we eat. We either shower together or he goes to sleep early and I take a bubble bath. Lay in the bed and chill til sleepy. If I have energy I do some nightime yoga or a workout before my bath.

I still live at home with my family so I come home, go to my room undress and lay on my bed for 5 - 10 mins pondering what Iam doing with my life. Then change back into my pj's and either figure out what to cook for my family (my parents work odd shifts and my siblings aren't able to cook, they are kids) or if there is something cooked or bought, I ravage through. Finally watch TV and craft or play video games for as long as I can then I get my siblings to bed, then myself but I spend an hour or 2 on my phone, mostly tiktok, pinterest or listening to music before I really fall asleep.

I am a closer. I also work as a substitute teacher in the mornings during the week. Usually I scramble from school to work and try to find a parking spot before walking into whatever god-awful mess that awaits. I’m also a shift so I scurry trying to catch up all the things that have not been done all while trying to run breaks and count the counts until I finally leave work 30 minutes after I’m scheduled. I leave work with several lunch and breakfast items for the week along with a few drinks (because I can’t afford to buy Starbucks) and I usually stop and a convenient store for a couple shots and a beer. I get home and sit in the driveway for a few minutes and then head inside where my wife (also a teacher) has been working on school stuff for a few hours and I flurry about dropping stuff in the fridge and removing clothes to get comfy for a couple hours of brain dead activity. I wake up at 5 every morning and do it all again. It’s rough but I manage and I work at the Bucks 3 days a week after school.

My dog greets me at the door with much excitement. I let her out to potty. After that it depends on when my shift is. If I closed, I'm probably starting dinner if I'm the 1st person home or it's ready and eat with my spouse. If I was in before 9am, I change and walk the dog. We usually go for 30-60 minutes. We get back, I'll have lunch. I usually scroll on the computer or read for a bit to digest, if I had a terrible night's sleep I'll nap. And then I take a spin class and maybe do some cross training. I throw the laundry in the washer before I jump on the bike, then into the dryer when I'm done. Then I get dinner started, eat with my spouse. Go up and shower, then try to do yoga before I get into bed, then I play dumb games on my phone.
