I’m 25 and still with my parents because rent prices are so astronomical. I thought getting a job at Starbucks since they’re going up to 15 soon I’d be able to afford living on my own but I think I might need a second job unfortunately 💔

I currently just have starbuvks but applied to a target warehouse where pay is 23.60/hour and I'd only be working Fri, sat, and sun. Tho 12 hour shifts. My store is amazing though and I don't want to walk away if I don't have to

Ooo what’s the job title? Like which one do I apply for on their website?

I think it was either warehouse associate or warehouse worker I can't remember right this second. Both are at least 20/hr. I'm also in MI. Not sure if that makes a difference or not on the website, im sure that they have warehouses everywhere tho

I work PRN as a specimen processor at a lab in a hospital but I am a full time ssv at sbux. Recently came back to the company since I make $20 now after the new raise.
I make about $17 as a specimen processor. Even though Starbucks pays me enough I like to have extra money in case hours are low.

Ugh I wanna be an ssv so bad for that paycheck. I just started though. Any tips for getting that promotion?

Administrative Assistant, I'm a key holder and they treat me with more dignity than I get at Starbucks and nobody is mean to me, bullies me or acts foolish. All of the problems that I have had with Starbucks, I *do not* have at my other job. I actually get some peace and respect there.

I have two other jobs. My main one is in tech manufacturing and it pays $17.25/h and it’s full time. I only do sbux one day a week. I say look at factory jobs. They are really in need and it’s not too difficult of a job depending on the job.

I work with NPS in CA fulltime, 4/10hr days. Sbux is my pt fun job. Needed it because my wife couldn't work for 2yrs, but now she has some income so I don't need it. I'm staying through next summer at most, and wil probably come and go seasonally.
One coworker at Sbux has 3 jobs, she's in a similar situation I was in. Tough times.

I went back to my old job to be a manger at an icecream place, make a dollar more, in charge, and make my own schedule. I only work at Starbucks two days a week, 4 hours each shift. I thought about quitting the siren and sticking with my second job but idk.

I'm in a different boat than much. I am PT at SBucks to pay my student loans. I am working to get a small sewing business of the ground while making my health a priority. Thankfully, my hubby has a great job so pressure for me to have FT pay isn't there.

Sbux is my PT, weekend only job. I work FT as a customer account team lead. It’s a customer service job working with billing so previous experience with customers and when I was a shift helped show my experience when I first started with the company.
