Every Starbucks employee that is short money because of labor cuts should apply for the CUP fund and maybe Starbucks might get a hint.

unfortunately ive heard from partners they only help if youre already behind on rent and have proof of it, not really if you will be coming up. i could be wrong tho and it never hurts to apply

Dog walking , if you have a car doing food delivery , or selling clothing/ items on depop/Mercari .

TaskRabbit, Wonolo, Craigslist has a place where people put up odd jobs, these are all short term/single job same day pay (maybe couple of days for Wonolo) websites.
Besides this and all of the person and food delivery jobs, you can also sell your plasma. As long as you weigh above 115, you can usually get first time bonuses that come out after selling plasma for 2-3 times around 300-400 bucks. You only have to wait a day between selling your plasma so that would definitely get you there in time.

None of these sound good to you? If you have a 401k you can take out a personal loan off of it and you can pay it back in a payment plan that spans up to something like 8 years, and that would take about a week to pay out.

Still no? Try making an only fans. I’m sure you could make an only fans pay out making kinky barista stuff wether you’re a guy or gal. Not your style? I don’t blame you I couldn’t go through with that myself. You could also take any valuables you have to a pawn shop, ask them to reserve it for a period of time until you can buy it back, then go back when you’ve gotten paid again after rent.

Still not sounding good to you? If you have even just moderate credit you can get a credit card with anywhere between 300-4000 bucks on it that won’t charge interest for several months or even a year, so you’d easily have time to pay it pack using any of these other methods I’ve listed.
The only thing I insist you never do is go to one of those early paycheck places. They put you into holes you can never get out of and it is %100 not worth it. The business model of those places prey on the poor.

I genuinely hope this helps, I’ve been in your spot very often and I’ve always made it through the other side without an eviction notice. Best of luck, and Óðinn’s blessings

my god youre an angel thank you so much ill take a look into a couple of these and im sure one of them will work for me

Don't take out that credit card because its either you have the second job to pay for it back or you fucked.
lewtathamiv 1 points 1y ago
Not true, if you don’t abuse the card or put an obscene amount of debt on it. Like I get it because I’ve done it. I put 4K on my second credit card. I took out a loan to pay it off all in one go, now I pay like 60 a month on the loan, and I’ve used the credit card to get me out of tight spots especially with car troubles. Now I just treat it with the proper respect that credit deserves, which is no abuse, no ignoring it, no using it outside of emergency or planned use. Keeping from eviction sounds like a fine time to use credit, especially since these hour shortages happen every year, and the hours have gone back up every year. Not permanent thing

Cup fund if it's a huge emergency or your last resource, only because after you apply and if you get approved you can't use it again for I think 2 years...
Maybe you csn apply for it to cover your whole rent and leave yourself whatever you have to cover food and other expenses for the month.
When I applied to be able to get to a funeral outside of the country I didn't include the money I had to get me through the month because I wouldn't be using my living resources and then have no cash for food or bills.

Got a second job in the evenings

IF you have a credit card and are confident that you will be able to gather that amount of money in the extra time you get to pay it back, use the credit card.

Pick up shifts whenever someone calls in sick or your store needs coverage. I've never had an issue with filling in someone's shift for a few extra bucks.

Have one of your close friends help you out - it's just $300 so they probably wont mind when you pay it back and it's interest free.

CUP fund.

Do odd jobs online.

There're endless ways to make $300 if you wanted it bad enough.

Definitely always the odd job or second job route.
kristis3233 1 points 1y ago
The cup fund is great but they do have requirements, and you can only use them once every 3 years. If ur short on cash you could think about second job, extra hrs at another Sbux

Oh lol I have no clue what the cake is about
The forms to apply you can print out. Call partner contact and they will help you with getting them . As for the the money that might be there by then. But if ur landlord is understanding you will have proof that money is coming

Cake day is the anniversary of when you made your account
xtracheddargoldfishh 1 points 1y ago
If you have stuff you don’t want anymore a yard sale could get you some cash!

I’m just trying to think of things where there wouldn’t be a waiting period for getting the money
