so i made a bunch of backups this morning and all of them had grinds in them and it caused a really big problem because of it and i feel really bad… i don’t know what i even did though…i did everything (seemingly) correct????

Did you stack the backups on top of each other? Sometimes grounds get transferred on the bottom of the filter if you do that.
Otherwise maybe people are being careful when they put the filters into the buns.

i used the food sheets to separate them

Best guess is that people are not putting them into the brewer baskets right. If the edges aren't tucked in or it's angled wrong sometimes the water overflows grounds to the outside of the filter
