Going Green/ Mug/Carafe Situation ? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by LitbykristenPhoto
HOW are you all supposed to navigate making hot drinks without a customers cup in the window, and as far as frapps…will you just pour them into the persons carafe/cup and then top them off w/whip/sauce/sprinkles?

Also in the cafe…will you put stickers directly ON the cups/mugs?

My worry is that so many ppl wont have the correct size cup/carafe for the size they order.

I legit want to stockpile my paper/plastic cups for when this goes into effect 😣

I absolutely agree oceans/and all their inhabitants are more important than our vanity/status but Im confused how it will affect times in dto/ making impatient customers worse…more explaining to customers that their cups are too small etc et al!

you're not supposed to take cups in drive so if they have a personal cup they need to come inside the store

So when Sbux goes green they are still going to have their cups in DTO?

i'd assume so bc there's no way to make that efficient for drive times which is what they care about more than sustainability

Customers are going to get a new clean cup every time. When they come back they’ll drop their dirty one in a bin that an outside company collects and cleans. That company brings clean cups to you to use just like our current cups.
