advice? hours reduced to 0 (self.starbucksbaristas)

hey all, my hours have been cut from 15-20 a week to literally 0. asked my sm if any shifts were avaliable, she gave me one 5 hour shift. there's no implications that this will end any time soon. I'm aware that there's a minimum number of hours partners have to work a week, what can I do about this?

Are you the only barista with 0 hours? And did anyhring happen before to maybe cause them to retaliate?

I'm not sure about the first one but everyone's hours have been reduced. our sm is new and barely knows me and as far as I know nothing has happened. we are unionizing right now though and it seems like they are trying to get people to quit

the week before this started I was only scheduled for 7 hours on one day but I ended up calling out sick that day because i was vomiting. 🙃

It sounds like they are trying to get people to quit 😬 I'd hold out and ask around stores to see if partners are willing to give up a shift especially weekends! Hope ot gets better once you guys are union!

There is a minimum to be benefits eligible, but I have never seen an actual policy for minimum hours worked for a partner.

Someone told me they wasn’t schedule for around 3 months and they got fired.
