If they are doing it, lame so lame. But midday floors are a daily task so it’s most likely it wasn’t a prank. They probably didn’t choose a good time or didn’t give you enough direction rather than just trying to humiliate you.

I would say it can be sometimes at some stores but this would definitely not be a thing they would do to haze or whatever in my experience it has been more along the lines of trying to get green beans to eat the forbidden brownies (spent espresso pucks) or something silly like that

I tell all our green beans to watch out for eggs or sausage patties in their apron but it's mostly because our store has humor of middle schoolers and likes to hide food in random places

Never seen hazing. Especially not during peak. Probably just didn’t know what to do with you and too busy to actually supervise/ do his or her job.
