It's standard to fill the cup. If they ask for light ice then you make up for the lost drink volume with more product. By default, I add more base whether it's refresher base or tea base unless they ask for extra of a certain component like asking for extra coconut milk instead. But yeah, that's standard. Fill the cup y'all, it's not coming out of your paychecks.

I was told to prep it as if it was a size up say you’re making a grande pink drink light ice- look at the measurements for venti instead of grande when you pour the liquid and then when you’re ready to add ice go back to grande and look there for where to add the ice to.
In your case, it’s weird because they wanted half lemonade and coconut milk- my advice is just to make sure the cup is full a lot of customers get light ice to get more drink
In a case of a trenta I usually fill it up just about half way up the ice line (or a little more) and fill the remaining space with ice

You are supposed to fill the cup if they ask for light ice, they shouldn’t have to ask for it, so you know for the future.
You’ll want to add more base and lemonade/water/coconut milk and try to keep the correct ratios. So for example, I would do the (sorry in advance, I cannot picture the shakers rn) mango base to the line in the water section, add lemonade to the top of the water section, and then coconut milk about halfway into the ice section. If it was just a regular dragon drink for example, I’d do the base to that same halfway in the water line and then coconut milk all the way to halfway in the ice section. Does that make sense? It’s hard to describe when I don’t have a shaker in front of me.

Yup so go higher than the top line you’d normally fill it to

you are right! They didn’t go over it with me either! my fellow beans helped me out. 😊 they mentioned that more milk or ice diminishes the flavor where the base adds. i’ve also tried to fill slightly past the “lines” when i see light ice. adding base at the end seems to be easier. best to you!
