i was just on warming and it’s sunday so it’s already really busy but mobile after mobile after mobile came through and all were 4+ different items and drive was the same and a 12 food item order came through so i had at least 23 food bags on the counter and 2 people supporting and it was stressful, we’re also the third busiest in the state 🙃
i just wanted to complain and see if anyone relates cuz this is getting ridiculous

Warming doesn't get enough credit. Warming is shit to try to sequence and genuinely is very easily overwhelmed.

it does deserve more credit! i 1058394829483838% agree! it is so annoying! it’s usually my fav spot cuz i get cramps bad lately and the warmth helps with it but days like that annoy me! i pull like 5-6 stickers at a time and when i have time i pull out the food and then once i bag the food i pull more stickers and keep bagging and stuff like that. it’s hard to learn but you’ll eventually get it

I absolutely hate doing warming during peak. Any other time I love it. Plus at my store we never have anyone on warming support so it gets so busy. 😫

my shift didn’t know what to do with someone so he put them there to help get the pastries that aren’t warmed and front reg helped when she didn’t have anything too which was helpful

Yeah honestly warming is the only stressful part of the job for me like we could be getting mobile after mobile having people yell at us and i still wouldn’t be as stressed as when I’m on dto/warm ALONE during peak

Today was awful for us as well. The printer didnt stop for mobiles, dt, and cafe for warming.

I wish I knew 😔 sometimes I think it’s the labor cuts that’s making it so awful lately (we seem to never have enough staff on, I’ve never seen a warming support since I’ve been there and we easily do $50k a week) but I’m not entirely sure that’s the whole problem.

honestly warming support was only cuz i had 30+ items per 5 mins for about an hour and a half and we didn’t need the custy support that badly and if they had to get something they quickly would and dto came to pick up the food or front reg ran it but yeah that doesn’t help like the asm keeps suggesting to hire people but even then that doesn’t help
