Sooooo the other day a woman asked me for a gay drink. I replied Im sorry what? And she giggled as she said oh I just wanted something fruity…I literally had no words. I couldn’t talk. 😳

Wow. I woulda stared her down real hard and then probably play dumb and make her explain the 'joke'

It was on drive head set, but she absolutely heard my partner say that’s a hate crime. Totally changed her tone

YESSSS that's like the best way to respond to biggots who think they're funny. "I don't get it, can you explain it to me" they'll get mad or flustered or embarrassed and it's the best thing to watch. I did that to a coworker from a different job who thought blackface was funny. Asked her to explain to me why it's funny and of course she couldn't. 😊😊😊

Ikr? I asked her to explain and she was like ".... it just IS..." like really aggressively, gritting her teeth and everything and I doubled down and asked "okay but HOW?" She tried to intimidate me into dropping it and it didn't work 🤣🤣🤣

I feel like a lot of chronically online young people don't understand how that was a real slur used against order gay folks... Like... You don't say that in public

Either chronically online teens or boomers
