If you can, I would transfer to a new store. It's hard enough being new and overwhelmed. But to have horrible co-workers talk shit in front of you. No one needs that kind of drama in their life.
Or, you can remind them, hey I'm new, really overwhelmed, how can I be better ?
When i was new i ALWAYS reminded them that i was new and to be patient with me.

Here are my tips with the window
Option 1: Talk about yourself to the customer. Control the conversation by talking about your day and let them ask you questions.
Option 2: Lie. Just start making things up. “Oh the drive to work today was horrible! There was a wild deer on the road that would not move!” And tell every car that same lie and make up a story. It’s kinda fun.
Now about your coworkers talking shit, tell your shift supervisor about it! They can directly help with diffusing situations like that and it sounds like they are just picking on the new person. Make friends with coworkers who want to help you grow, not put you down.

Hi! I started working in January so I’m pretty new too! It really sucks that you’re experiencing that with your coworkers, I definitely had a different experience in that I thought everyone was really nice and understanding, so if it gets to that point, just straight up call them out and tell them to help you out with understanding and not just shit talk if it annoys them that much 🙄. For window, it’s super intimidating at first but I promise with time you’ll get more natural at it, sometimes you have no idea how easy it is to just carry a conversation. Definitely assess the customer first, it’ll be obvious to you when they don’t wanna talk :). Good luck! You’ll get the hang of it :)

Hey, I'm new too! That sucks that your coworkers are being horrible people. It's not your fault. For me, I find my best interactions are when I admit a mistake or odd thought I had. For example, I saw a cup that said Pisti L, and I was like, huh I didn't know we gave people pitchers of lemonade. I told the customer at the window that and we had a good laugh. Also, remember that some customers won't want to talk and you kinda just have to respect that. Good luck!
