Today a woman brought by a drink she purchased at another location saying that they made it wrong. The sticker read “tall americano, 2 sugar, cream” and she was like “no I hate americanos this tastes weird.” Proceeds to order “2 shots, water, 2 sugars and cream”

I've always been taught that upside down is make it like a latte but add caramel to the top. Been a partner for over 12 years and have never been corrected or questioned on it. Otherwise you're just sipping straight caramel. Unless it is specifically requested on bottom, I always do it on top for upside down.

I’m petty and when people ask for it upside down (when it’s iced) I layer that thing upside down. And then they’ll start asking for it stirred because they didn’t realize that you could actually make it upside down

i always tell this to trainees, because i know it will make them feel less scared when they’re settling in. no one knows what they’re actually ordering. i always make sure to help my green beans

Lmao not kidding but one time a girl asked me for our grande blond roast coffee blended. I warned her it would be very liquidy and she was cool with it since she really wanted the blond roast blended. So i gave her what she wanted and sure enough it was super liquidy but that was the only instance where the customer asked for something that turned out weird but was nice about it and took responsibility saying its ok and thats what she asked for

They only get drizzle on bottom if they ask for extra, it’s not pose to go in there automatically
